Holy Trinity Church - Velemér - Velemér

The church originating from the Middle Ages was consecrated in order to worship the Holy Trinity. It is located on the hill – nowadays it is called priest-meadow - on the edge of the municipality. This parish church was built in the second half of the 13th century and is an excellent example for the transition from Romanesque to Gothic. The frescoes of John of Aquila have made the church truly well known.
